On Friday night, the Boston College women’s lacrosse team faced off against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, a match-up between the #3 and #2 teams in the country. BC lost a one-goal game to the Irish just last month, but now in the ACC Tournament, the Eagles came out on top for a 9-7 win.
This was a close game from start to finish. Neither team led by more than 2 goals all the way into the fourth quarter. Notre Dame got out to an early 1-0 lead, but the Eagles quickly scored three in a row to take a lead on the first quarter.
